[Ghouls Podcast] Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986)

Every month we'll be bringing you a very special bonus episode hosted by Editor-in-Chief, Zoë Rose Smith, and Assistant Editor, Rebecca McCallum! Together they'll will be exploring a film that sits outside of the monthly themes.

In this episode Rebecca and Zoë look at another polarising and controversial film that felt very different to the slasher horror films that were coming out in the 80s. That film was none other than John McNaughton’s HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER. The film is based on real-life serial killers Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole, which makes this film even more difficult, uncomfortable and disturbing to watch.
