Throughout September we were looking at slasher films, and therefore we decided to cover a slasher film that could be considered as an underrated gem in the horror genre. And the perfect film for this was Franck Khalfoun’s 2012 remake of MANIAC.

Together they look at the perspectives that this remake brings to its film style, the portrayals of toxic masculinity and of course, the absolutely phenomenal performance by Elijah Wood.
